After the M5 road, what is the real purpose of jihadist factions’ acts?

Last night, SOHR activists reported that jihadist factions blew up a bridge on Aleppo-Latakia road, before conducting the first Russian-Turkish joint patrol, while members of the factions put nails along the road to impede military vehicles from crossing.

Members of the factions and civilians were involved in setting fire to tires and cutting off roads.

The Syrian Observatory has obtained video tapes contain threats to the Russians if those patrols roamed the Aleppo-Latakia international highway.

A close associate of HTS announced offering a financial reward for killing Russian agency journalists who were accompanying the patrols today, forgetting the other road Damascus-Aleppo, which is now under the control of the regime, Russia and Iranian militias.

On the other hand, political and civic blocs organized some of these demonstrations by chanting certain slogans in support of the Turkish position.

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that HTS and the “Syrian Salvation Government” funded today’s demonstrations, providing transportation for protesters from towns, villages and cities to Aleppo-Latakia  international highway, as well distribution of tents, drinks and food to some demonstrators in order to prevent Russian and Turkish forces from conducting joint patrols on the international highway.
