Unidentified jet flies over Al-Bokamal triggering panic and confusion among Iranian forces and militias

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that an unidentified jet flew over Al-Bokamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor yesterday evening, which caused a wide-spread confusion among Iranian forces and loyal militias in the Iranian-controlled city.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the Iranians hurried to evacuate their headquarters and hid in residential houses in the city.

On March 12, Observatory sources reported that seeing ambulances affiliated to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization heading from the Iraqi city of Al-Qa’im to Al-Bokamal city, via the border crossing between the two cities.

The ambulances crossed into the Syrian territory in order to take the Iraqi Popular Mobilization’s militiamen who were killed or injured in yesterday’s airstrikes on their headquarters, south of Al-Bokamal city in Deir Ezzor countryside near Iraq – Syria border.

SOHR sources confirmed earlier this morning that the number of Iraqi fighters in Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, who were killed last night in airstrikes on their headquarters in Al-Hasyan area in Al-Bokamal countryside on Syria – Iraq border, rose to 26. Over 15 others sustained injuries.
