Six persons killed across Syria yesterday

A child was killed as a result of an old landmine explosion left over from war on a farm on the outskirts of Douama in eastern Ghouta.

A young man from Darkush town was also killed by Turkish border guards “Jandarma” fire as he tried to cross Turkish territory from Iskenderun region, north of Idlib.

Today, local residents found the body of a displaced man from al-Bukamal countryside, lying near Al-Omar oil field with bullets wounds in the head. The victim was kidnapped yesterday by unknown assailants from Al-Shuhayil town in eastern countryside of Deir wz-Zor.

One person killed in a booby-trapped motorcycle explosion near the traffic department building in Al-Shaddadi town in northern rural Al-Hasakah.

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that two gunmen riding a motorcycle, opened fire at a patrol of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Al-Zar in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor. The patrol members pursued them and shot them at the edge of al-Shuhayil, killing one of the gunmen and seriously injuring the other.
