Two Turkish-backed fighters killed during infiltration attempt by SDF, north of Ain Issa

SOHR sources say that SDF managed to infiltrate into positions of Turkish-backed factions in Khirbet Karam, north of Ain Issa town, where clashes took place between the two sides, leaving two members of the “National Army” dead.

Accordingly, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on the 9th of October 2019 risen to 448.

SOHR has documented the death of 31 regime soldiers and the injury of others as a result of rocket attacks carried out by Turkish forces and proxy factions on frontlines in north-west of Manbij and east of Ayn Issa town on regime forces positions.

Meanwhile, the death toll among Ankara-backed Syrian factions and Turkish-backed cells has reached 379, all were killed in attacks and clashes with SDF during the same period, 21 of whom were members in cells backed by Ankara, killed in clashes with SDF. In addition to 11 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battles. More Turks were reportedly killed on Turkey-Syria border.
