Under HTS’s supervision, Turkish forces set up guard posts and conduct patrol on their own

SOHR sources have reported that Turkish engineering vehicles entered “de-escalation zone” in order to complete the reopening of M4 road. Turkish forces have set up 14 outposts and guard posts on Aleppo-Latakia international highway, from AL-Nayrab town to outskirts of Bsanqol village.

Turkish forces also conducted a military patrol consisting of ten armoured vehicles, setting off from the town of Al-Tarnaba heading towards Muhambil on M4 road, while HTS secured the road for those vehicles.

On March 18, the Syrian Observatory monitored Turkish vehicles and bulldozers, working to reopen Aleppo-Latakia international highway known as M4, after it was blocked in various ways by HTS and jihadist factions.
