Daraa’s security chaos: gang attempts to kill young man with a sharp object

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that a gang of two persons and a woman broke into one of the guesthouses in the town of Ghussom stabbing a young man with a sharp object and then fleeing. A group of young men from the town followed them exchanging fire with them.

A few days ago, the same young man was shot by a gang trying to steal a car from the front of his house.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 367 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 222 persons, 45 of whom are civilians, including five women and four children, in addition to 114 members of regime forces, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

41 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 16 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
