Kurdish and Turkish forces trade fire in north Aleppo countryside

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that Kurdish forces fired several rockets on Azaz city and the outskirts of the Turkish-controlled city of Mar’e in the northern countryside of Aleppo. no casualties have been reported.

Turkish forces responded by rocked fire targeting Kurdish positions in Maraanaz, Ain Daqnah and Tal Rifaat, north of Aleppo.

Yesterday evening, SOHR sources monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces stationed in rural Aleppo, targeting the villages of Shawargha and Irshadiya in Sharra township in the Kurdish-controlled areas in north of Aleppo. No casualties were reported.

On March 26, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces stationed near Azaz city fired several rockets targeting Tal Rifaat town, which is controlled by Kurdish and regime forces and housing a Russian military base in northern Aleppo, injuring two displaced civilians from Afrin.
