Afrin’s violations: Turkish-backed factions kidnap Kurdish civilian from his village

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that members of Turkish-backed factions kidnapped a Kurdish civilian from rural Afrin yesterday. Gunmen of “Mohammed al-Fatih” faction arrested a civilian from the village of Ma’amal Ushagi in Raju district of rural Afrin, north of Aleppo, and took him to an unknown destination.

This comes as part of Turkish-backed factions’ policy of clamping down on the remaining of Afrin residents and forcing them to leave their areas.

SOHR activists documented earlier the death of a Yazidi civilian in Bab Al-Hawa hospital affected by his injuries, after being shot a few days ago by gunmen of Turkish-backed faction of “Al-Sham Corps”. The Turkish-backed gunmen shot the civilian while attempting to force him out of his house in Sufan village in Sherawa area in rural Afrin city.
