Ceasefire violations: regime forces shell positions in Jabal Al-Zawiyah
SOHR sources have reported that regime forces fired several rockets this afternoon, targeting areas in Sfuhen and Kafr Oweid in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. No casualties have been reported.
SOHR sources reported earlier this morning that Russian and regime aerial operations have been still suspended completely as the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” entered its 28th consecutive day. However, the area frequently experiences sporadic violations every now and then.
Syrian Observatory activists have confirmed that regime forces fired several rockets in early hours of Thursday morning, targeting the outskirts of Al-Fterah, Sfuhen and Kafr Oweid in Jabal Al-Zawiyah.
On the other hand, opposition factions and jihadi groups have brought in new military reinforcement to the area.
