NDF attack Asayish forces and traffic police in Al-Qamishly leaving many casualties, and Russian forces interfere

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that members of regime-backed National Defense Forces (NDF) opened fire on military vehicles of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) and traffic police, while they were passing in Al-Saba’ Bahrat roundabout in Al-Qamishly city.

The attack left at least three members of Asayish forces and traffic police injured, one of whom sustained serious injury. Also a civilian was killed after being hit with indiscriminate gunshots while passing in the area.

The Internal Security Forces responded to the attack by opening fire on the attackers, and unconfirmed reports suggested the fall of other casualties. On the other hand, Russian military vehicles have arrived in the area in order to break up the conflict between both sides, amid widespread tension prevailing in the area.
