Tens of families flee their areas as Turkish forces continue shelling villages in northern Al-Raqqah

Syrian Observatory activists say that Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies fired several artillery and tank shells, targeting the villages of Kobarlik, Huriyyah and Abdi Kawa in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The Turkish shelling coincided with the displacement of tens of families from these village searching for safe haven.

SOHR sources reported earlier this day that Turkish forces and their proxies fired several rockets, targeting positions of regime forces and SDF in Kobrilik and Afdiko villages of Tal Abyad township “Kari Sabi”, north of Al-Raqqah province.

Turkish forces also shelled the villages of Kobarlik and Abdi Kawa in rural Tal Abyad, north of Raqqa yesterday, along with the flight of Turkish reconnaissance drones over the area.
