Several civilians injured in ISIS cell attack on school housing SDF members

SOHR sources have reported that unknown assailants believed to be Islamic State cells carried out an attack with machine guns on a school housing SDF members, which was used as headquarters, in Sweidan Jazira village. Clashes took place this afternoon between members of SDF and the gunmen who fled on their motorcycles following a resistance by the headquarters’ member. Clashes resulted in injuring four civilians living near the school.

On April 3, SOHR sources reported that an improvised explosive device exploded targeting SDF military vehicle in the village of Ghariba Al-Sharqiya, north of Deir ez-Zor, killing one member and injuring another.
