Regime forces and loyalists, opposition factions and jihadist groups fortify their positions in eastern rural Idlib, bringing in new military reinforcement

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that opposition factions and jihadist groups have brought in new military reinforcement to their positions in the areas of Al-Nayrab and Sarmin in eastern Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, new reinforcement also was brought in by regime forces and loyalists from southern Aleppo countryside to the frontline of Saraqeb, east of Idlib, as part of the ongoing massive reinforcement by both sides during the past few days,

On April 3, Syrian Observatory activists reported seeing more military reinforcement of regime forces and Iranian-backed militias arriving at their positions in Idlib. The new military reinforcement was deployed on frontlines of several areas in the province, including Kafr Nubl, Hazarin, Al-Fatira and other areas in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern countryside of Idlib.

On March 28, SOHR sources reported that regime forces and Iranian-backed militias brought in new military reinforcement, including Syrian and non-Syrian fighters, to their positions in Idlib province.

The new reinforcement arrived in the past few hours in Saraqeb frontlines and other areas, east of Idlib city, near the administrative border with Aleppo province.
