“National Defense” members smuggle arrivals from Damascus to Al-Qamishli airport for money

The Syrian Observatory has monitored smuggling operations of arrivals from the Syrian capital Damascus via airlines to Al-Qamishli airport, where quarantine was imposed on all arrivals.

According to Observatory sources, “National Defense” members have smuggled dozens of people for money by an estimated 10,000 Syrian pounds per person.

The Kurdish Red Crescent has tightened the preventive measures at the entrances and exits of Al-Qamishli airport, where all arrivals in its areas are being tested for “Kit”, and then quarantine them for 14 days.

On April 5, Reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the “Self-Administration” in Al-Qamishli is forcing regime forces, arriving at the border areas in Al-Hasakeh province, to undergo a medical examination to ensure that they are not infected with the novel Coronavirus.

On the other hand, soldiers are being transported by bus to their military posts without allowing them to roam or contact with others.

“Self-Administration” prevented a group of civilians arriving from Damascus from entering Al-Hasakeh province until the necessary tests are conducted and quarantine them by the Kurdish Red Crescent team.

The “Self-Administration” imposed a 15-day curfew on March 23, ending April 6.
