Afrin’s violations: Turkish-backed factions kidnap three young men for belonging to “Self-Administration”

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that members of the 12th Brigade, which is part of Turkish-backed factions of the “National Army”, kidnapped yesterday three Kurdish civilians from their homes in the town of Badanli in Raju area, for performing “self-defense duty” during the period of previous “Self-Administration”, and they were taken to the center of Raju area.

On April 5, activists informed SOHR that an armed group affiliated to the Turkish-backed faction “Sultan Murad” stormed civilian houses in Afrin city, in an attempt to seize these house by forcing their owners out. While the gunmen were attempting to drive the houses’ inhabitants out, they assaulted women who were in these houses. Military police interfered and expelled the armed group, amid tension prevailing throughout the city. Meanwhile, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyyah and military police demanded Sultan Murad command that the members who stormed those houses be handed over.
