Ankara-backed factions launch artillery shells targeting Tal Abyad areas north al-Raqqah
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored artillery shelling carried out by the Turkish-backed factions targeting Kor Hassan village west of Tal Abyad town north of al-Raqqah, but no information about casualties.
The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 5th of April 2020 that Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies fired several artillery and tank shells, targeting the villages of Kobarlik, Huriyyah and Abdi Kawa in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The Turkish shelling coincided with the displacement of tens of families from these village searching for safe haven.
