Regime forces on high alert as the 52nd Brigade’s commander assassinated with regime officer in rural Daraa
Syrian Observatory sources have monitored regime forces on high alert in the eastern countryside of Daraa, after the assassination of the 52nd Brigade’s chief of staff as well as another colonel and a soldier, all affiliated to the same brigade. Regime forces have brought in large military reinforcement and boosted most of their checkpoint and posts in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
SOHR sources reported hours earlier that unknown assailants attacked a military vehicle affiliated to the regime’s “52nd Brigade” using machineguns on the road between Al-Harak and Al-Mulayha Al-Gharbiyah in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
The attack left three regime soldiers dead, while others sustained various injuries.
