The second attacks of its kind in a few days: IEDs go off in school planned to be SDF headquarters in eastern Deir Ezzor

SOHR activists have reported hearing several explosions in Al-Hawaij village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor caused by detonating IEDs, planted by unknown gunmen believed to be of ISIS cells.

The explosions have hit a school which SDF are preparing for taking it as their headquarters in the village. No casualties have been reported yet.

It is noteworthy that unknown gunmen attacked the same school four days earlier.

On April 14, SOHR sources monitored an explosion carried out by unknown assailants, believed to be ISIS members, in a school that the SDF planned to use as headquarters in the village of Al-Hawaij in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. No casualties were reported.
