Unknown assailants kill farmer in rural Al-Suwaidaa

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that unknown assailants shot dead a man from Al-Suwaidaa province, while working in agricultural land in the west of Ara village in rural Al-Suwaidaa, then they escaped.

According to SOHR, the murder took place a few hundreds of meters away from a military checkpoint affiliated to regime intelligence that did not take care of the gunfire.

On Monday, SOHR sources monitored a new attack with machine guns and medium weapons by local factions from the frontlines of Al-Qurya town in Al-Suwaidaa, on areas of the 5th Corps gunmen in Bosra al-Sham in rural Daraa. Clashes erupted on several frontlines, while no casualties were reported.

SOHR sources reported earlier on that day that violent clashes with various types of weapons broke out between gunmen from Al-Suwaidaa province and gunmen from Bosra al-Sham in eastern countryside of Daraa, following an attack by Al-Suwaidaa gunmen on members of the Russian-backed “Fifth Crops”, in Bosra al-Sham. Clashes left ten people injured among both sides, while a member of Al-Suwaidaa gunmen was killed.
