Protests | residents demonstrate in rural Idlib protesting HTS practices and opening of commercial crossing with Syrian regime

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored several residents participating in demonstrations in Ariha and Kafr Takharim cities in rural Idlib, protesting the practices of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and its intention of opening a commercial crossing with areas under the control of the Syrian regime.

 

On May 1, SOHR sources monitored mass demonstrations in several cities and towns in Idlib and Aleppo provinces against HTS practices. Residents and locals of Idlib city, Binnish, Kafr Takharim, Taftnaz, Killi, Harbanoush, Zardana, Maarrat Al-Na’saan and Darat Izza went out in demonstrations denouncing the recent practices of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and opposing the opening of the commercial crossing with regime forces in the area.

 

Meanwhile, HTS armed security officials were deployed at Al-Sa’aa square in Idlib city.

 

Observatory sources also monitored demonstrations in several towns and cities of Idlib city on April 30, denouncing the practices of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham against the demonstrators protesting the opening of the commercial crossing with areas under the control of regime forces.
