Regime forces renew shelling Sahl Al-Ghab and southern Idlib, while Russian reconnaissance drones flying over the area

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Russian reconnaissance drones flying over western countryside of Hama and southern countryside of Idlib, along with regime rocket attacks targeting places in Kafr Oweid in southern Idlib and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab. No casualties have been reported yet.

Regime forces renewed rocket attacks in the early hours of Sunday morning, targeting places in Kansafra, Sfuhen, Al-Ftera and Fulayfel in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, opposition factions destroyed a vehicle of regime forces in Al-Ftera in Jabal Al-Zawiyah after targeting it with a guided missile.

These developments come as a part of ongoing violations to the new ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” in its 59th consecutive day.

SOHR sources reported last night that regime forces targeted Kansafra town, and the villages of Sfuhen, Al-Ftera and Fulayfel in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in rural Idlib with artillery and heavy machineguns. No casualties were reported.
