Assassination | Unidentified gunmen assassinate members of Air-Force Intelligence branch in rural Daraa

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that two members of Air-Force Intelligence branch were killed and the third was seriously injured today, after being targeted with machine guns by unknown gunmen on the road between the towns of Al-Malaiha Al-Sharqiya and Nahteh in rural Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 436 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 282 persons, 61 of whom are civilians, including six women and four children, in addition to 143 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

45 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
