Security campaign | SDF and Coalition arrest suspect in eastern Deir Ezzor, and confiscate money and gold

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have informed SOHR that security group of Syria Democratic Forces raided an area near Saad Ibn Abi Waqqas mosque in Al-Zarr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. SDF called upon the locals in the village, via loudspeakers, to stay at home and not to get out.

 

The International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop later, targeting the house of a displaced person from Al-Boleel town and another nearby house owned by a displaced merchant from Baqrus town. A man from Al-Boleel was arrest, while he was in a visit to the first house’s owner. It is not known yet whether the arrested person belongs to ISIS or not.

 

Meanwhile, the raiding forces have confiscated money, mobile phones and gold from the two houses in Al-Zarr village. They also stormed a shop of mobile phones and confiscated all contents there. The security forces opened fire up on the air intimidating people to force them staying at home.

 

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that Syria Democratic Forces have arrested one of their members in Al-Busayrah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The SDF member was arrested for various charges, including thefts, narcotics trafficking, and blackmailing locals by collecting money from them after accusing them of belonging to ISIS and arresting them.
