Forced displacement | Turkish-backed factions demand once again residents of village in rural Abu Racine leave their homes

SOHR sources say that Turkish-backed factions have renewed their demand for residents of the village of Aniq al-Hawa near the town of Abu Racine leave their homes. The village is close to frontlines with SDF.

On May 3, SOHR sources reported that Turkish-backed factions demanded the remaining families in the villages of Anik al-Hawa and Um Ushbeh in rural Al-Hasakeh, leave their homes and allowed them to take the contents of their homes after paying a levy of 50,000 Syrian pounds. Meanwhile several families were forced to leave their homes in Abu Racine countryside.

On the other hand, the village of Daoudiya Mala Salman was emptied as it became a Turkish military zone. A number of houses have been bulldozed in order to set up military gatherings.
