Tense calm prevails in “de-escalation zone”, amid anticipations for running new joint patrol on M4

Syrian Observatory sources have reported that regime forces renewed rocket attacks in the early hours of Tuesday morning, targeting places in Sfuhen in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and Al-Qahera in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama. Meanwhile, Turkish reconnaissance drones were monitored flying over Idlib

Otherwise, cautious calm is prevailing throughout the “de-escalation zone” on the 68th consecutive day of new ceasefire, amid anticipations for running a new Russian-Turkish joint patrol on Aleppo-Latakia international highway (M4).

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that regime forces attacked a wheel loader belonging to HTS, while erecting soil barriers on Fleifel frontline in rural Idlib, injuring two HTS members one of whom sustained serious injuries.

On the other hand, vehicles affiliated to regime forces erected soil barriers at the entrances to Zeitan town in rural Aleppo.
