Idlib | HTS arrests three civilians from border camp, and Ahrar al-Sham disperses civilian protests in Al-Foua

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) arrested today three displaced persons, including a woman from “Maram camp” in the city of Sarmada. According to Syrian Observatory sources, HTS members seized the mobile phones of the arrested persons and took them to an unknown destination. The three arrested hailed from Hama countryside.

On the other hand, civilians have demonstrated today against Ahrar al-Sham members, after a displaced family was evicted from their house in the town of Al-Foua, while Ahrar al-Sham members fired in the air to disperse them.

SOHR sources have reported that Ahrar al-Sham faction expelled a displaced family from rural Homs, consisting of a mother and four orphaned children, from their house in the town of Al-Foua, near Idlib city, in order to turn it into a military headquarters.

Displaced families from Homs and rural Damascus provinces have lost their homes since their arrival in northern Syria, due to heavy shelling during the recent military operation. Houses turned into military and security headquarters, and homes for the families of fighters in the factions which control the town.
