Security chaos in Al-Sweida | Gunmen block road to kidnap civilian

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen tried today to kidnap a civilian from Al-Sweida province. The gunmen opened fire him, causing him several injuries. However, the man managed to escape.

The gunmen have blocked the road between al-Dur village and Al-Mazra’a town in western countryside of Al-Sweida, and fled through agricultural roads after their failed attempt.

On May 7, locals in the village of Attil found the body of a Bedouin woman between the town of Attil and Al-Harouba in rural Al-Sweida, without knowing the motive for the killing.
