Assassination | Unidentified gunmen assassinate civilian and steal his motorcycle in rural Daraa

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen opened fire on a civilian on Tasil-Al Bakkar road, west of Daraa, killing him instantly. The gunmen stole his belongings and motorcycle. The area is under the control of the regime’s Air-Force Intelligence checkpoints.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 447 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 287 persons, 65 of whom are civilians, including six women and four children, in addition to 154 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

46 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
