“De-escalation zone” | Tens calm interrupted by regime shelling on southern Idlib

Regime forces opened fire of heavy machineguns on places on the outskirts of Al-Rwayha village in northern Maarrat Al-Nu’man in the early hours of Friday morning.

Regime forces also renewed shelling places in Fulayfel and Sfuhen villages in the southern countryside of Idlib. Otherwise, cautious calm is prevailing in the area of “Putin-Erdogan” on the 71st consecutive day of the new ceasefire in the area.

Yesterday, SOHR activists confirmed that regime forces renewed rocket attacks on places in Fulayfel and Sfuhen villages in the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, reconnaissance drones were monitored flying over Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama.
