Aleppo | Civilians among many fighters killed or injured, as clashes renew among Turkish-backed factions in countryside

The Syrian Observatory has monitored clashes with machine guns between “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyeh” faction and “Al-Hamzat Division”, on the outskirts of Al-Bab city and the villages of Qabasin and Al-Sukariya, east of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, these factions have brought in reinforcement to their areas from other Turkish-backed factions, increasing the number of feuding factions to four, they are: “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiyeh, Ahrar al-Sharqiya, Al-Hamzat Division and military police.”

At least two fighters of these factions were killed and others injured as a result of ongoing clashes, in addition to significant material damage.

Furthermore, a woman was also killed after a civilian car being targeted at the moment of the clashes.

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored today fierce clashes with light and medium weapons between fighters from Tal Refaat city and the “security bureau”, at Bab Al-Salamah border crossing with Turkey in Azaz city, north of Aleppo.

Reasons behind this fight are yet to be known, since Bab Al-Salamah border crossing experiences clashes among Turkish-backed factions for the second consecutive day.

Yesterday, SOHR sources monitored clashes with machine guns among Turkish-backed factions near Bab al-Salama crossing on Turkey border, between “Al-Fateh Brigade” and the emergency units of “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya”. Meanwhile, opposition factions in the area were on high alert.
