Turkish Jandarma shoot dead Kurdish farmer while working on his land in far north-eastern Syria

SOHR activists have documented the death of a Kurdish civilian after being shot by the Turkish border guard forces “Jandarma” in “Dirna Aghi” village of “Jal Agha/Al-Jawadiyah” district, east of Al-Qamishli city on Syria-Turkey border. The victim was shot while working on his land.

 

According to Syrian Observatory statistics, the number of Syrian civilians who have been killed by the Turkish Jandarma since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution, has risen to 448 including 78 children under the age of eighteen and 44 females over the age of eighteen.
