Syrian Observatory activists have monitored new airdrop by U.S. forces in Deir Ezzor countryside. This operation is the third  of its kind to be carried out in Deir Ezzor in three consecutive days.

The new security campaign targeted a house in Al-Zar village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. U.S. forces, with a group of SDF having inspected the house and arrested a person without resistance. No further details have been reported about the arrested person’s identity, whether being an ISIS commander or  ISIS affiliate.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that that U.S. forces carried out new airdrop in Al-Shuhayl town, east of Deir Ezzor. The security campaign targeted two houses of two merchants of the same family.

SDF special forces participated in the campaign in which they encircled the two houses and cordoned off the area. The raiding forces stormed the two houses and inspected them. However, the two suspects could not be found, so the security forces arrested two of their sons.

Meanwhile, SOHR sources reported that the raiding forces shot dead a civilian while he was on the roof of his house watching the airdrop on the outskirts of Al-Zar village near Al-Shuhayl. The victim’s brother was also arrested later.
