Rural Idlib | HTS attacks regime positions, leaving eight soldiers dead or injured

SOHR activists say that three regime soldiers were killed and five others injured, after being targeted by a guided missile by members of Hayaat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) on Kafranbel frontlines in Idlib countryside.

Meanwhile, regime forces have shelled the village of Kafr Aweed in Idlib countryside with heavy artillery. No casualties have been reported.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the death of a regime soldier on Talhiya frontline, east of Idlib, in a landmine explosion. Moreover, a landmine also exploded in a harvester in the village of Abad in southern Aleppo countryside, causing material damage. No casualties have been reported.

Apart from that, tense calm continues throughout the “Putin-Erdogan” area on the 75th consecutive day of the new ceasefire.

SOHR sources have reported that fierce clashes erupted in the early hours of Tuesday morning on Al-Ankawi frontline in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, between regime forces and loyalists on one side, and opposition factions on the other. The clashes, which followed regime attack on positions of the factions, were accompanied by intensive shelling and exchange of fire. 

On the other hand, SOHR activists have documented the death of a child of his injury sustained, after being shot by regime snipers in Al-Ibizmu village in western countryside of Aleppo.
