Afrin | For criticizing their new uniform, military police arrest “civil activist”

Aleppo Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources have told SOHR that the military police in Afrin have arrested a “civil activist”, who has been displaced from Al-Tadamon neighbourhood in Damascus to Jendires district in Afrin countryside.

The activist was arrested following a post he had published on social media, criticizing the putting of the Turkish flag on the police’s new uniform, describing the police as hypocrites.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a civilian was killed and four others, including children, were injured due to clashes between members of Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya and displaced people from Rif Damascus in Afrin city center.

On the other hand, an elderly man from Kuran village in Janderas district was found drowned in the river, after being missing for six days.
