IED attack | Explosion injures SDF fighter in eastern Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosion rocked the SDF-controlled area of Hajin in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The explosion was caused by detonating an IED in a vehicle of Syria Democratic Forces in the town, which injured an SDF fighter and caused material damage.

SOHR sources reported yesterday that locals found decapitated body of a young man lying near the irrigation canal in the town of Al-Shuhayl in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The victim is a former SDF fighter and he has been kidnapped with his companion by unknown gunmen, near Al-Busayrah city in Deir Ezzor countryside. The gunmen killed the victim companion that morning demanding the ex-SDF fighter’s relatives release two thieves arrested by SDF the previous day in Mashikh village in the same countryside.

Meanwhile, another SDF member was injured due to an IED explosion in al-Alyat area in Al-Soussa town, while SDF military vehicle was passing.
