New airdrop | Ex-ISIS member killed in new security campaign by SDF and International Coalition

Syrian Observatory sources have confirmed that the International Coalition have carried out a new airdrop in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, targeting a house in Al-Shuhayl town. The house belongs to a person lives outside Syria and inhabited by a displaced family from Al-Bokamal.

 

A group of SDF and International Coalition raided the house and arrested the men living there. The reasons behind arresting these men remain unknown.

 

Meanwhile, the security force shot dead an ex-member of ISIS “real estate department”, who lives next to the targeted house.

 

On May 19, Observatory activists monitored a new airdrop by U.S. forces in Deir Ezzor countryside. That was the third operation of its kind to be carried out in Deir Ezzor in three consecutive days.

 

According to SOHR sources the new security campaign targeted a house in Al-Zar village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. U.S. forces with a group of SDF inspected the house and arrested a person without resistance. No further details were reported about the arrested person’s identity, whether being ISIS commander or related to ISIS.
