Murder | Iraqi refugee killed in “Al-Hawl mini-state”

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have monitored a new murder in “Al-Hawl mini-state” in the far south-east of Al-Hasakah, as an Iraqi refugee was found dead while distinguishing a fire broke out in three tents in the camp’s first sector.

According to medical sources, the victim was killed after being hit many times on his head. Meanwhile, the Kurdish Internal Security Forces (Asayish) continue investigations in the camp to determine the perpetrators and the circumstances in which the incident took place. The blame is pointed at extremist women of ISIS families.

A few days ago, SOHR activists reported that Internal Security Forces and SDF Special Forces arrested a group of women who escaped from the foreign immigrant section of “Al-Hawl mini state”, east of Hasakeh.

Reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that security forces arrested a number of “Al-Asayish” members for helping ISIS families escape for large sums of money.

“Al-Hawl mini state” accommodates some 70,000 displaced Syrians, Iraqi refugees and thousands of ISIS families. The camp has experienced many incidents of killings and attacks by women affiliated with the organization in a number of sectors of the camp.
