Aleppo | Old Kurdish man dies after verbal assault by group of shepherds

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that an elderly Kurdish man died of a heart attack in the town of Musaka in Raju district, while confronting shepherds.

The shepherds released their sheep on his farm around his home, where several people verbally attacked him, causing him a heart attack, and then he was taken to a hospital before he died.

On May 20, reliable sources told SOHR that the military police in Afrin arrested a “civil activist”, who has been displaced to Jendires district in Afrin countryside in north-western Aleppo.

The activist was arrested following a post he had published on social media, criticizing putting of the Turkish flag on the police’s new uniform, describing the police as hypocrites.
