“De-escalation zone” | Russian jets fly over western Aleppo following clashes between rebels and regime forces

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Russian jets flying over the western countryside of Aleppo and Idlib countryside. Meanwhile, clashes erupted in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Tqad area in the western countryside of Aleppo, between opposition factions and regime forces.

On the other hand, regime forces shelled places in Al-Fterah, Sfuhen and the vicinity of Kansafra in jabl Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

These developments come on the 83rd consecutive day of ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone”.

SOHR sources reported yesterday that an armed reconnaissance drone crashed near Kafr Naseh town in areas under the control of HTS and opposition factions in west Aleppo countryside. The drone exploded setting fires on agricultural land.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out near al-Qarqour dam in Sahl Al-Ghab, as regime forces targeted agricultural land near the frontlines there.
