Grenade explodes in coastal city killing civilian

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the killing of a man in Al-Tadamun neighbourhood in Jablah city due to the explosion of a grenade while tampering with it. This incident comes in the wake of proliferation of weapons in regime-controlled areas.

On March 12, Observatory sources reported that the phenomenon of proliferation of arms continued among militiamen loyal to the Syrian regime, Russia or Iran, have spread, putting the lives of civilians at risk.

Danger escalates in the Syrian coast line’s provinces in particular, as they are under the ruling class’s influence and considered the human reservoir of the regime’s ally forces.

In this context, a doctor was found dead in suspicious circumstances, on the road to Jawbat Burghal near Al-Arizah junction in latakia countryside.

It is noteworthy that the doctor was the head of radiography department in Al-Qardaha hospital. Al-Qardaha is the heartland of the President Bashar al-Assad and it is dominated by cronies close to the ruling class.
