New assassination | Unidentified gunmen assassinate regime soldier of 4th Division in Daraa

Daraa governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen assassinated a soldier of the regime’s 4th Division, by shooting him in front of the National Hospital in Daraa al-Mahata in Daraa.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 485 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 319 persons, 79 of whom are civilians, including seven women and seven children, in addition to 165 regime soldiers, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

52 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 17 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps”.
