Intensifying violence | Clashes erupt in rural Manbij, while SDF trading fire with Turkish-backed factions in rural Al-Hasakeh and Al-Raqqa

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored this evening sporadic clashes with light and medium weapons between Turkish-backed factions and the SDF’s Manbij Military Council, on the frontlines of the villages of Ya’asheli and Um Adaseh, north-west of Manbij city.

Meanwhile, Turkish-backed factions shelled the village of Abush, north of Tel Tamer, with artillery and mortar. No casualties have been reported.

SOHR sources reported earlier that Turkish-backed factions stationed in the village of Ain Al-Tineh shelled the village of Jahbel, east of the town of Ain Issa, with six artillery shells on areas controlled by regime forces and SDF. No casualties were reported yet.

SOHR activists monitored earlier this morning an exchange of artillery fire between Turkish-backed factions on one hand, and Syria Democratic Forces and regime forces on the other, in areas in the western countryside of Tal Abyad city in northern Al-Raqqah.

Turkish-backed factions shelled Kubralic village in western Tal Abyad, which pushed SDF and regime forces to respond by similar shelling.
