Security campaign | SDF arrest two persons in Al-Susah for unknown reasons

Syrian Observatory sources say that Syria Democratic Forces arrested two persons from their houses in Al-Susah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The reasons behind arresting these people have yet to be known.

Om May 31, SOHR activists confirmed that Syria Democratic Forces (SDF) arrested an ex-ISIS member in Al-Busayrah city in eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to Observatory sources, the member was arrested for “collecting zakat money” from citizens for active ISIS cells in the region.

On May 28, reliable sources informed SOHR that the International Coalition carried out an airdrop in Jadeed Ekaydat village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor in the early hours of Thursday morning. Coalition forces with SDF besieged an area in the village after informing people there to stay indoors, via loudspeakers. The raiding forces have arrested four ISIS members, believed to be Iraqis.
