Airstrikes | Russian jets renew shelling on ”de-escalation zone”

SOHR activists say that a Russian jet targeted this evening the village of Al-Sermaniyah in Sahl Al-Ghab, north-west of Hama province.

This comes in less than 24 hours after the last attack on the “Putin-Erdogan” area.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled with artillery the villages of Qofqin and Al-Halaoubiya in the southern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported yet.

Russian jets have carried out a new round of airstrikes on the “de-escalation zone” in the early hours of Wednesday morning, targeting places in the area between Al-Qarqur and the Power Plant area in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western Hama with four raids. No casualties have been reported yet.

Last night, the Syrian Observatory monitored raids by Russian jets targeting the area between the Kabana frontline in north-eastern Latakia and the area of Sahl Al-Ghab.

It is worth noting that this is the first attack of its kind since the recent ceasefire in the “de-escalation zone” came into effect.
