“De-escalation zone” | Woman killed in earlier Russian airstrikes, and Turkish forces reinforce their positions

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented today the death of a woman of injuries sustained in airstrikes by Russian jets a few days ago, on Ballion area in Jabal al-Zawiya.

On the other hand, regime forces shelled areas south of Idlib with heavy artillery, targeting Fleifel frontline, and the frontline of the village of Al-Ruwayha witnessed exchange of fire between regime forces and opposition factions there.

SOHR sources have monitored Turkish forces erecting soil barriers near their posts in the area of Saraqeb, Taftanaz, Binnish and Afis road in Idlib countryside, and east of Al-Atareb and Al-Jina in rural Aleppo in the area of “Putin-Erdogan”.

Moreover, regime forces shelled on Friday morning areas in Al-Fatira, Safohin and Fleifel in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern Idlib countryside. The Fleifel frontline witnessed exchange of fire with heavy and medium weapons between regime forces and opposition factions. No casualties were reported.
