Turkish artillery | Army shells Tal Abyad countryside, killing regime soldier

SOHR activists say that one regime soldier was killed and another wounded by Turkish artillery shelling, targeting the village of Qzali and its silos, west of Tal Abyad in Al-Raqqa countryside.

On June 8, Turkish forces shelled the village of Ahmadiyya, west of Tal Abyad, with heavy weapons and mortars, setting agricultural crops on fire there.

On June 4, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of two Turkish-backed fighters of the “Al-Majd Corps” and the injury of four others, as a result of an infiltration by the SDF into their positions on the western frontlines of the city of Tal Abyad in Al-Raqqa countryside, north-eastern Syria.
