New assassination | Unidentified gunmen assassinate Turkish-backed fighter in Al-Bab city
Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
SOHR sources have reported that unidentified gunmen targeted today a member of the Turkish-backed “Mohammed al-Fatih Brigade” in the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo province, killing him instantly.
Meanwhile, engineering teams detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) planted in a car, parked in the Mahmoudiyah neighbourhood in Afrin. No casualties have been reported.
On June 11, the Syrian Observatory monitored an explosion in the city of Al-Bab, which is controlled by Turkish forces and proxy factions in north-east Aleppo, caused by an IED exploded in a car on Al-Ashra street, near Al-Farabi Hospital in the city. The explosion injured a citizen while passing by and caused material damage.
