Abandoning newborns | Residents find newborn baby abandoned in eastern Aleppo countryside

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that residents have found the body of a newborn baby inside a nylon bag, dumbed at the road linking between Qabasin and Al-Bab within “Euphrates Shield” area in eastern Aleppo countryside.

This comes in light of the growing phenomenon of child abandonment across Syria for different reasons.

On August 13, SOHR activists reported that residents found a newborn baby girl, dumped outside a mosque in Susyan town in Al-Bab countryside, east of Aleppo.
