Al-Nusra Front releases Raed al-Fares after a new agreement guaranteed by Hadi Al-Abdullah

Reliably sources informed the activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) released Raed al-Fares the director of Radio Fresh by the guaranty of Hadi Al-Abdullah, after being detained for several hours.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of the agreement between Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant) and the activist Hadi Al-Abdullah, the agreement is undersigned by “al-Nusra Front Emir in Kafr Nabl” and the activist Hadi Al-Abdullah, regarding the arrest of the activist Raed al-Fares the director of Radio Fresh of town Kafr Nabl in the countryside of Idlib, the agreement says:
“on the morning of Sunday 30th Rabi al-Awwal 1437, corresponding to 10th of January 2016 a group of Al-Nusra Front raided the headquarters of Radio Fresh which belong to Raed al-Fares because he published a post on the social networking sites on the Internet in which had a thing obviously wrong according to Sharia and they have arrested a Raed al-Fares and the confiscated the radio equipment and other equipment found in the place, it turned out that it belong to Hadi Al-Abdullah, and after meeting between al-Nusra officials and Hadi Al-Abdullah to clarify what happened, it was agreed on the following points:

 

  1. Hadi al-Abdullah acknowledge that the post published by Raed al-Fares is considered obviously wrong according to Sharia.

 

  1. Al-Nusra officials acknowledge that the abuses which took place during the raid by their soldiers is an obvious mistake.

 

  1. Releasing Raed al-Fares that under the condition that he will come to Sharia court if he is recalled and guaranteed by Hadi Al-Abdullah.

 

  1. All the equipment that was confiscated shall be returned with compensation by al-Nusra in case of damage”.
