Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi orders the whipping of 2 “of his governors” 4000 lashes each separately “in several states.”

Deir Ezzor Province, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The activists of the Syrian Observatory for human rights observed the “Islamic state” whipping this afternoon “Two people they said that they were Wali of al-Janoub State and Wali of al-Fallujah State” where they were whipped “500” lashes each one of them in al-Jerdaq Square at al-Mayadin city east of Deir Ezzor province, on charges of “negligence the matters of Muslims”, where “Amir of Tazir*” issued an order from “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi” the leader of the organization, and the “punishment” stated that every one of them should be whipped “4 thousand separated lashes in all States”, they were whipped in the city of al-Mayadin while hundreds of civilians -including tens of children- witnessed the whipping.
The regime forces shelled areas in neighborhoods of Rashdiyyah and al-Hwiqa in the city of Deir Ezzor, no information about casualties.

 

*Tazir means berate, but in In Islamic Law, tazir refers to punishment for offenses at the discretion of the judge (Qadi) or ruler of the state.
